Specialists in green design for the wildlife, environment and conservation sectors

About Dandi Creative

As a specialist creative team, who are all passionate about conservation and the environment, we truly believe that to offer strong and effective design and print, you need to fully understand and empathise with the subject matter and client you are creating for. Therefore working with like-minded clients, suppliers and associates is the key to our unique approach.

Meet the team

  • Clare Challice
Creative Director / Client Account Manager

Clare's experience as a designer and illustrator runs over 15 years (qualified with a degree in Graphic Design), with many years agency work, where amongst other high profile clients, she was instrumental in developing the Bristol Water conservation account. Clare then founded Dandi Creative in 2003 as a direct result of her passion for Wildlife and Conservation, and the belief that there was a clear need for a specialist design service within the wildlife, environment and conservation sectors.

When not designing, Clare enjoys being out in the fresh air, taking stormy seaside strolls, attempting to grow organic veg, spotting foxes and roe deer, and visiting design and art exhibitions.

  • Iain Brunwin
    Senior Designer / Web Developer

Prior to joining Dandi, Iain spent many years providing digital design services to agencies in the South West, followed by five years as creative director at a full-service design agency near Longleat in Wiltshire. Having worked for many public and private sector clients such as University of Southampton, THINK!, HM Government, DuPont, Panasonic and Skills for Health, Iain has a real depth of experience and a broad range of both traditional and online design skills.

Away from his Mac Iain loves getting close to nature on his mountainbike, having occasional wobbles on his surfboard, and getting out for wild countryside walks.

  • Abi Stubbs
    Wildlife Illustrator

Abi is qualified with a Diploma in Wildlife Illustration and a degree in Graphic Design where she also specialised in illustration (Abi and Clare actually went to the same university). She has spent many years illustrating for conservation-based organisations and was key in developing the first community Wildlife Action Pack (pioneered by Avon Wildlife Trust) in the early 90s. It was subsequently adopted and used by Wildlife Trusts nationally.

Abi has been drawing insects and flowers as far back as she can remember, and is just as passionate about wildlife and conservation - that's why we love having her on board. In her spare time you will find her scuba diving, and she is a keen supporter of the Shark Trust and other marine conservation societies.

  • Lorraine Jones
    Marketing Consultant (Market-Ease)

Lorraine was a partner of a design, PR and marketing agency in Clevedon, Bristol and was responsible for the creative department alongside the shared role of business management. Having since formed Market-Ease in 2004, Lorraine has worked closely with Dandi Creative providing key marketing consultancy services. Working with Lorraine means a better understanding of the target audience and market place which enables us to produce marketing strategies that really work for our clients and more importantly their customers.

In her spare time, Lorraine enjoys contemporary dance and painting (often exhibiting her work at the North Somerset Arts Week events), in between nurturing her two lovely daughters and taking family surfing trips to Cornwall.

  • Keith Blake
    Green Print Manager (Burleigh)

Keith is our 'eco'- print account manager at Burleigh (litho and digital printers). He is CIM qualified and focuses on visibly adding value to our clients' projects. His experience means that clients can relax, knowing that quality, time, convenience and budgetary factors are all taken care of. He has been looking after the print needs for environmental organisations such as Avon Wildlife Trust and Bristol Zoo for over 14 years, organising such diverse projects as way-marking signs, AGM mailings, roller banners, pop-up stands as well as conventional requirements of brochures, leaflets and annual reports.

Outside of work Keith enjoys gardening, country walks with his family and playing football with his sons. His favourite activity is trying to keep afloat in the canoe at Slimbridge!
